NinjaTerra — the threat-globe manual
NinjaTerra is a real-time 3D globe of the world's threats: every active conflict, outbreak, wildfire, ransomware hit, ship, flight and signal, plotted on a slowly-turning Earth. It's a free visual instrument — no login, no accounts. This short manual explains the layers and controls.
What NinjaTerra is
A single-page WebGL globe (Three.js) that pulls live global data and paints it onto the planet. Watch it turn, or dig into any marker. It exists to make the state of the world legible — a calm, ambient instrument rather than a dashboard you operate.
The layer panel
The panel on the left switches the feeds on and off individually — Major events, Disease outbreaks, Refugee flows, Ransomware hits, Sentiment (tone), Geopolitical risk, Threat actors, Wildfires, Shipping, Flights, Radiation and Attack arcs. Turn everything on for the full picture, or clear all and study one layer at a time.
Map view & the DREAD index
Toggle Map view to swap the 3D globe for a flat 2D map (and "◄ Back to globe" to return) — handy when you want geography over drama. The stat strip carries a live DREAD index and a bottom ticker with a blinking LIVE indicator, so you feel the tempo of what's coming in.
Hover & drill-down
Hover a marker for a tooltip; click for the right-side drawer with the event's details and outbound links to the source. That's the whole interaction — turn, toggle, hover, drill.
The desktop version
The globe pitches a deeper desktop edition — the same intelligence, on your desk. The web globe is the free window into it.
